How does the Annual Retainer Plan work?

It's a yearly subscription charged to your payment card at checkout.

  • We use your existing records (if they're under 18 months old), or take new impressions if needed.
  • You get 2 new retainer sets every year your plan renews
  • Delivered automatically to your door
  • Discount for backup sets — especially helpful if your teeth tend to shift easily.
How do the impressions work?

You'll receive 1 at-home impression kit with the £239 plan.

  • The kit includes enough materials for 4 impressions (2 upper, 2 lower), plus instructions and free return shipping
  • You'll take your first impressions and send us photos
  • We'll review and give feedback before you continue
  • Once everything looks good, we'll ask you to take the final set and return the kit to the lab
  • We rely on photos during the impression taking process to guide you — if these photos aren't shared, additional kits may be charged at £60 / €79.
Can anyone join?

Yes. Whether you've had aligners with Straight Teeth Direct, another provider, or traditional braces — you can join. New customers start with £239 (includes impressions).

Can I cancel at any time?

Absolutely. Cancel with written notice (email or account) at least 2 months before renewal. No cancellation fees, no lock-in contracts. You can email us at hello@straightteethdirect.com or manage your subscription through your account.

What if I grind my teeth?

Retainers aren't designed for heavy grinding — they can wear out or break. If you grind your teeth, you'll need a night guard instead. These protect your teeth but aren't designed to protect tooth alignment.

Had dental work recently?

You may need new impressions. Just contact us before renewing.

What if they don't fit?

Tell us within 14 days. We'll help fix it.
